Competitions over the holiday period

Just a few things to make you aware of, if you’re playing over the holidays-

  1. We’ll be playing off only 1 tee, as we always do at this time of year. This keeps our field neat and tidy, and allows better access to the course for visitors.
  2. On all playing days, just have your completed cards checked at the Pro Shop and leave them there.
  3. All competition players need to hit off in the time slots listed on the computer.
Some players were hoping to be able to play earlier in the morning. This was discussed with the Golf Management Committee, and it was agreed that we would stick to the designated time slots. The greens staff need time to prepare the course and because of noise restrictions close to houses, they’re not able to use machinery until 7am.
  4. NTP – Could players in the last group of the competition please remember to return the NTP device to the Pro Shop.

State Final – Women’s Medal Playoff
Thought you might find this interesting – it was to be played in Sydney, on the day of the big storm last week. Play was delayed twice during the day due to lightning, and finally called off. Three Northern Rivers players were there – one each from Kyogle, Lismore and Grafton.
