Raffle next Tuesday (24th May)
Proceeds from this will go to the Salvo’s Red Shield Appeal. Bev is an official collector, she will donate a prize for the winner so that all proceeds can go to the charity, and she will have an official receipt book if anyone wishes to make a personal donation.
A very “hard day at the office” for both teams last Monday. They played Coolangatta Tweed Heads at Byron Bay and were beaten 1-4 and 2-3. In spite of that, Grade 1 is still in 2nd place (by only 1 pt), and Grade 2 is in 3rd place. The Grade 2 event is being dominated this year by Club Banora who have scored a massive 26 points from a possible 30! Good luck to both teams for next Monday, when they play Club Banora at Murwillumbah.
In case you haven’t already heard, the official opening of the club’s new front deck is this Sunday 22nd, at 3pm. It has been built by the sponsors of yesterday’s competition, Rob Aungle & Assoc, Consulting Engineers. Click here for their website.
