Shootout
It was a long slow day for the final round yesterday, thank you to everyone who stayed for presentation. The course was in much better condition than many of us expected, thanks to Shane, his staff and the goonies. It was great to see Marelle playing with us, representing the sponsors W D Nicolls. Congratulations to the winners, a couple of photos are here.

90 degree rule
It was good to see this being used yesterday. It’s a great way to allow carts on the course while still protecting the wet areas. It’s a new concept for many of us, but used routinely by a lot of clubs to help protect the course. Click here for a diagram and a good explanation of how it works. It is something we could do a lot of days, even when it’s not compulsory.
