Jane Fry Trophy
Congratulations to the winner, Judy Isaacs.
For those who don’t remember Jane, she was a foundation member of our club and our first Captain. She was on committee for 12 years, holding positions of Secretary, Publicity Officer, and 6 years as President. She was the first female board member, was involved in the building of the Halfway House, and for many years she was responsible for stocking it and organizing the roster of volunteers. She was a passionate supporter of the club, and when no longer able to play golf, she continued to support us as our Patron. Jane loved dolphins and had stickers on her car, her golf cart, and a dolphin statue in her back garden. Thank you to June, Mavis and Margaret for the beautiful perpetual trophy.

Locker room renovations
Painting is expected to begin next Tuesday. This will require the temporary removal of some noticeboards and other things from the walls, and perhaps a little inconvenience for us while the painters are there. But the result will be a lighter, brighter and more attractive room, with a better space to display our photos and other memorabilia.

WGNR 3 person team event
This will be held at Lismore on Monday 15th August. If you would like to represent Ocean Shores in this event, please nominate on the sheet in the locker room. This is a club representative event, so the committee will select the team from the list of nomineees, and will pay their entry fees.
