Wet weather changes
You’ve probably received an email about this but, just to be sure, here is the information again. Tuesday 16th Oct (tomorrow) – The Medal round has been postponed. In the unlikely event that the course is open, playable, and there are enough ladies prepared to go out there, the competition will be a single stableford. Tuesday 30th October – The Medal round (postponed on 16th) will be played instead of the programmed graded draw. The graded draw is cancelled and will not be rescheduled.
Congratulations to Chris and his helpers for a successful event. And congratulations to all the prize winners. Some photos are here – there was a good mix of those in fancy dress and those not dressed up, so even if you were not there, have a quick look at the photos and they may encourage you to attend next year’s event.
Congratulations to Marylou Pratt, winner of the Spring Bowl, on a countback from Liz Parks and Candy Burt. More photos are here.
Raffle winners – Sandy Stephenson & Sylvia Staff Presentation Night – this Saturday, 13th – book and pay in Pro Shop by Friday.
New NTP Markers (Tuesdays only) Much smaller, no tape measure, just a card holder and a small orange disk. If you’re a long way from the pin, there’s no need to measure accurately – just plant the orange disk and put your name on the card. If you’re close enough to measure with the flagstick, then record the measurement on the card with your name, and return the orange disk to its holder – this will stop the disk from interfering with people’s putts, and hopefully stop it being left out on the course by accident. Could the last group please check they have orange disk when they bring in the NTPs – the disks are quite expensive.

Changes to blog layout
The menu at the right side (or at the bottom on a phone) has been modified. Open Days – there is now a direct link to the folder where you can see all currently available Open Days. Photos – there is a link to all our photo albums, now moved to Flickr, which is more user friendly than Google Photos. There are still many photos to scan and upload, mainly from the 1990s. This will happen gradually over the next few months.
