Amendment!!
The Vet’s annual fee is of course $5. I didn’t read Liz’s email carefully and had a mental lapse, back to the distant past. Apologies, Pat

The new committee appreciates all your comments and suggestions, and will discuss them at their next meeting.
Congratulations to the outgoing Captain and President who teamed up to win the daily competition, and to raffle winners Margaret Byron and Liz Parks

Vets Membership now due
New memberships are $12, annual renewal is $4. Please pay Liz Parks (NOT the Pro Shop) this coming Tuesday if you can, otherwise ASAP.

Opening Day 2018
Yes, it’s time to start thinking about this already! The season starts on Tuesday 30th January, the draw will be done on 23rd Jan. The draw sheet will be on the board next week and the committee ask if you could please put your names down ASAP – the 2 committee members who are organising the catering are going on holiday on 2nd Jan and would like an idea of the numbers before they go.

Important message about club bylaws
The OSCC Board is concerned that a considerable amount of club rules are being breached and it has come to the point that members who continue to do so will be warned initially, and then face further disciplinary action for subsequent breaches. The main issues are the number of buggies in each playing group, bringing your own alcohol onto the course, dogs on the course, using the course incorrectly for practice, and driving carts too close to greens & tees.
Please take the time to read and note the full detailsclick here.

Xmas Party
What an amazing array of “A” costumes! There are already plenty of photos circulating on Facebook, but if you’re not a Facebook person, you can click here to see a few. If you received a prize from Alice and the White Rabbit, you can click here to see the rabbit in action. Thank you to the Mad (1 point!) Hatter for anchoring the day, with amusing, accomplished anecdotes, and A-1 trivia.

Golf NSW Medal Finals
Good luck to Sue Tarrant – she competes in the State Finals at Horizons on Tuesday 12th Dec

Annual Meeting – Tuesday 12th Dec – 1pm approx
Nominations have been received for all vacant positions, no positions are contested so there will be no voting required. Please still make an effort to attend, to show your support for the outgoing and incoming committees.
It’s also a good time to voice your opinions, both positive and negative, about how ladies golf is managed. The incoming committee may not do everything you suggest, but they will certainly listen to all your ideas and take them into consideration when planning for next year.
